FirstLuggageDirect's top tips for entertaining the children when traveling
1. Surprise packages
Prepared in advanced but can really help keep kids occupied. Wrap up small presents and give out every hour or set distance. Small toys, games, you can even include healthy snacks and juices.
2. Kids Travel Journal
Encourage your children make their own travel journal. This can both help keep them busy while travelling and be a fantastic keepsake of your family holiday memories.
3. Boarding Last
Most airlines let you board first but don’t do it, boarding last you can avoid an extra 30 minutes on the plane, and once on and bucked in, the plane will be ready to take off. However only do this if you have reserved seats. Try tag team boarding, one adult carry on the bulky bags and secure overhead storage and the other waits and entertains the kids until last call.
4.DVD’s
If you have a laptop or portable DVD player you can occupy the kids for ages playing films but try interactive DVD games for more stimulating and educational fun.
